1783	construction of the chapel “Marienkapelle“ with stones of the “Hammersbach Castle”

1896	guesthouse “Höllenthal“ is the first restaurant in Hammersbach

1901	the chapel is newly build

1928	the “Verlagsgesellschaft Deutscher Eisenbahner ltd.“ acquired the properties in Hammersbach

1934	expropriated by the NSDAP, the hotel is used by the German Working-class front the “Vermögensverwaltung” of the German working-class is recorded in the land register as owner The hotel is mentioned as “Hotel Wetumpka-Military Government for Bavaria Officers Rest Centre and Ski Lodge” for the recreation of the Bavarian military government establishment of “Railway Training and Recreation ltd.” with mutation in the land registers

1962	renamed as “Haus Hammersbach Training-and Recreation centre GdeD, ltd “

1965	modification and extension of the old house “Alpspitz”; the “Laternenstüberl” is newly designed.

1976	reopening of the new renovated house “Werdenfels”

1991	establishment of “Ferienhotel Haus Hammersbach GdED, ltd”

1992	purchase, demolition and new building of „Hammersbacher Hütte” (previously Martinsklause)

1993	demolition of the old main building, new construction

1994	reopening of the new main building, publicly available

1995	leasing of the restaurant “ Osterfelder Hof”

1996/ 1997	modification and extension of house “Alpspitz“

1997	building of an underground car park and two staff houses

1997	creation of an animation and incentive department

1998/ 1999	renovation of house “Werdenfels”

1999	modification of the old meeting rooms in house “Werdenfels” to “Hammersbach Otium “ (sauna and spa area, 600 sqm). The “ Hochalm am Kreuzeck (1,705 m)”, was bought. It is a mountain lodge located in one of the nicest ski and hiking area in the region. The company is called now “Ferienhotel Haus Hammersbach mit Hütte, Hof und Hochalm”

2000/ 2001	renovation of the “Hochalm” (kitchen, toilette facilities…) creation of a spa program

2002	purchasing of “Marienalp“ and modification into a staff house with a big holiday flat for families Start of the construction of the pool area with panoramic view.

2003	opening of the new indoor swimming pool. The ”Otium” now has about 1,500 sqm and is completed by a new fitness area and beauty farm Outside renovation of all houses (painting, wood works) Modification and renovation of house “Almenrausch “ (Allergic and single rooms)

2004	qualification as a 4 Star Hotel

2005	closure of the business at the “Osterfelder Hof“

2006	the facades of the main building have got a new paint

2007	since 01.12.07 the operational business of the house is resumed by RIMC management company in Hamburg.

2008	after a hard storm the “Hochalm” is renovated. A lot of news occurred inside of the hotel and at the hotel area as well as the new room renovation. Development of a new corporate identity with a new logo and a new design. New marketing channels and clients were opened.

2011	The main building got a new modern kitchen and a new buffet area with display cooking station. At the first floor of the main building a new banquet kitchen has been created.
